Associazione Calcio Milan, also known as "AC Milan" or just "Milan", is an Italian football club based in Milan. The club was established in 1899 and since then has spent most of its time at the peak of Italian football. AC Milan has won eighteen international titles In European and World tournaments, which is more than any other club in the world. The club is the second most victorious in Italy, winning seventeen league titles. Other important competitions which Milan has won include the European Super Cup five times and the Cup Winners' Cup twice. In Italy the team has won the Coppa Italia five times as well as five Italian Super Cups. AC Milan is also a member of the G-14 organization and was one of the founding members.  They play their home games at the San Siro football stadium, which is also known as the "Stadio Giuseppe Meazza". The stadium is the largest in Italian football and is shared with their rivals, "Internazionale" football club. AC Milan's customary home kit includes a red and black striped jersey, white shorts, and black socks. The team has acquired the nickname "rossoneri" (red-black) because of their striped red and black shirts. Milan's away strip has always consisted of a white jersey, white shorts, and white socks. Their away kit is considered by the fans and the club as their lucky strip in Champions League finals, since Milan has won six out of eight tournaments in this attire.
