Bolton Wanderers Football Club is an official English football club located in Horwich, Greater Manchester, England. The team was a victorious cup winner in the 1920s, winning the FA Cup three times (in 1923, 1926, and 1929). They won the cup a fourth time in 1958 thanks to two goals by Nat Lofthouse. A less successful period followed, reaching their lowest point in 1987 when the club spent a season in the Fourth Division. The club regained top division status in 1995 after a 15 year absence. They currently play in the Premier League (since 2001). In 2005–2006 the team competed in a European competition for the first time, reaching the last 32 of the UEFA Cup. Bolton qualified for the 2007–2008 tournaments by finishing in 7th place at the 2006–2007 Premier League seasons and this time they reached the last 16 of the competition. The Bolton Wanderers have spent the most seasons in the top division without winning the title (69 in total until 2008). The club moved to the Reebok Stadium in 1997 after playing their home games in Burnden Park until then. The team's home kit currently consists of white shirts with navy trim, navy shorts, and white socks. However, until 1884 the team wore shirts that were white with red spots. They also tried out an all white kit in the 1970's. Bolton's away kit includes a black shirt with turquoise trim, black shorts, and black socks. The team's shirts are currently sponsored by Reebok.
