Since 1908 the country of Germany has been represented in international football tournaments by the "German national football team". The team was designated the name "West Germany" after World War II until 1990. Germany is one of the most victorious national teams, having won three World Cups in addition to three European championships. The German national football team's home dress has stayed the same throughout the years consisting of a white jersey and black shorts, although the away jersey colors have changed quite a few times.
